Traveller's Tip:

Always try to get an address written for you in Chinese, it will help if you need to catch a taxi. Also on check in grab a business card from the hotel desk, if you get lost you at least have something to show the driver to find your way back.A lot of websites may have the address on their site which is an easy cut and paste to print before you go. The word LU is pinyin for road. Unless you are really adventurous or have a guide with you it is easier to catch a taxi instead of a bus if you have the address. Only use registered taxi's and do not accept a "quoted price" as these usually are in excess of the true fare. Unlike Hong Kong where the police are fluent in both Chinese and English you will be hard pressed to find someone to offer you directions.
